The sub is over run with posts that do not display the known observables of UAP.

So many times people have posted things that appear to be completely normal things in the sky. Videos of balloons, highway interchange lights in the fog, and lights against a dark sky.

I understand that the sub is called r/UFOs, but it’s become a place where things that seem obvious to explain get thousands of up votes to me, the video of the two balloons tethered together, “orbiting each other,” should not have received as many votes as it did. This to me seems very unusual and suspicious. Who is actually upvoting these things!? We know that the AARO report showed that the feds are willing to lie and obfuscate what they know. I would not be surprised if it is standard operating procedure to have bots up vote these ridiculous videos.

Mods need to require that a sighting display some kind of observable aspect, extreme acceleration, movement that can’t be explained by the wind, advanced flight characteristics without control surfaces, transmedium, or literally anything that can’t be explained by it being a balloon or bug or bird or airplane.

I’m not saying that I am the arbiter of what is explainable or not, but this sub is turning into a joke with what gets onto the front page.
