The House Oversight Committee has now heard multiple testimonies confirming that excessive classification is preventing the American people from knowing the truth about UFOs. Mike Gold, in his testimony, emphasized that NASA and other civilian agencies are well-positioned to contribute to the study of this phenomenon, but their efforts are obstructed by a longstanding culture of secrecy.
It is unacceptable that all UAP videos since 2021 have been classified at the level of “secret or above.” This level of restriction prevents scientific analysis and fuels public distrust in government institutions. The deliberate suppression of UFO data is anti-democratic and contrary to the principles of an open society.
