I wanted to share, just in case anybody wanted to copy something from it. If I get a response that is interesting I’ll share it. Mine serves on the Intelligence committee, so hopefully they give me a response that isn’t dissapointing.

Congressman [blank],

I am not somebody who would typically vote for you, but if you champion this cause I may consider voting for you in the next election. This is saying a lot for me because I have deeply entrenched political views. I hope that is enough for you to consider what I have to say.

A former decorated Afghanistan combat veteran named David Grusch recently came forward with much publicized claims of a UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program. He served in the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office and was the co-lead for UAP analysis at the NGA and its representative to the UAP Task Force. He assisted in writing portions of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2023. In 2022 he filed whistleblower complaints with the ICIG Office relating to his claims and to alleged reprisals relating to his investigations under the UAPTF. The current ICIG Thomas Monheim found his complaint both ‘urgent’ and ‘credible’, and referred them to the intelligence committees. He is being represented in his complaints by the former first ICIG Chuck McCollough who personally left his legal firm Compass Rose to represent him.

Today I found out that his medical records were illegally leaked by somebody in the government who had access to them, to a website named “The Intercept”. Medical records which included his struggles with PTSD and suicide. I’m not going to debate the validity of his claims, they are either true or they are not. What I cannot abide is a decorated combat veteran being apparently smeared by somebody, presumably within the Pentagon, because of his claims.

In my mind, this is an issue that exists irrelevant to if there are little green men in the sky or not. This is somebody who has served our country honorably, who deserves the respect that I give them. I want there to be a public inquiry as to how this information got into the hands of the press without there being a request filed with the relevant authorities first. I want to know why a veteran of our nation is being selectively targeted. I don’t care if there’s a UFO in a hanger somewhere, or if they’re just spending millions of dollars on nothing. This has to stop.

Please consider what I have to say, if you champion this cause then I will afford you a respect I rarely give to politicians.
