A thought experiment on UFOs and ontological shock

Hypothetically, let’s say the government announces that there has indeed been NHI technology flying about in our skies, we have vehicles and bodies in our possession, and they are able to provide proof that you find acceptable. Basically, it’s all true, I’d argue this is a possibility, if not a foregone conclusion.

I’ve read a lot of books on all this since 1978, it was really in the 80’s that all this was laid out, by academics, scientists, researchers, government officials, NASA staff and military personnel.

The list of those that have come forward in the past 40 years is extensive, too many to name here, but taken as a whole it’s an impressive gathering.

David Grusch stated under oath much of what was already out there, there was only a few snippets of anything new, all this had already been laid out in the decades before, he just confirmed it all.

Those people who had known this hypothetical truth, investigators, researchers those on the inside, they were right all along, while most of the public were not, these people had access to the same information, it’s not a secret, if all this comes out then few came to the right conclusions while most did not.

If they are correct, then what sets them apart from reading the information and getting the correct answers? Those who say there is no evidence, these researchers etc say there is plenty of evidence but most are unable or unwilling to acknowledge it. hypothetically, if this comes out as stated, a percentage got it right, while the majority got it very wrong.

Being wrong about something so monumental, reaching a false conclusion from given evidence, what would that say about your reasoning abilities? Mistaken on the biggest subject in history?

Hypothetically of course.

This may or may not come out, but if it does I suspect the ontological shock will not be in regarding to NHI, but in our collective blindness to see what’s right in front of our faces, it’s not a secret.
