This was just released today. I think it further legitimizes Dave Grusch as the leading voice in UAP research at the DoD at the time, considering he was recommended to the IG directly.
Biggest takeaway is Grusch points the Inspector General to an Air Force contact to look into Recovered UAP Materials.
Here’s a quick summary.
The meeting took place on July 12, 2021. There were 5 representatives present from the DoD IG office. Including from Space, Missile, Nuclear and Engineering divisions. The purpose was to “gain testimonial evidence from a member of the UAP task force to gain a better understanding into what the DoD has done and should be doing regarding the UAP problem set”. The interview was classified TOP SECRET//TK//NOFORN level. Whatever that means. Grusch was concerned that there was no formal reporting mechanism for reporting UAPs. He says the analysis done for some DNI report was lacking. Grusch recommends a contact at the Air Force regarding potential recovered UAP materials. Grusch proposes a permanent office to handle strategic anomalies like UAPs. The rest is a powerpoint presentation that Grusch presumably made to show the IG team. It’s a bit out of context but worth checking out.
Side Note: This is not the same as the Intelligence Community IG who held the briefing today. This is the Department of Defense IG.
