“Frustrating Dissonance” When Viewing Footage and Photos of UAPs

I was checking out the recent thread on the black triangles, otherwise known as the legendary TR3B (which is such a cool name).: https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/185e4vw/what_is_up_with_black_triangles/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

My frustrating experience of viewing footage and photos of UAPs is my nagging doubt which persists on the horizon of my mind.

To me, the video of the black triangle in the rain is compelling…but nah, can’t be real. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBdEeHYDuyc

Authentic images are mixed in with hoaxes, mistakes, and deliberate governmental obfuscations to such an extent that I believe it wouldn’t matter if a black triangle hovered over a suburban neighborhood for five minutes.

The government (if they own these) could fly a triangle whenever they wanted to and no one would believe it, even if caught on camera. An clip posted to Tik Tok seems inherently fake because it’s, well, Tik Tok – which I know is fallacious reasoning.

There is so much noise along with the incredible implications of their existence that it doesn’t really matter whether UAPs are occasionally seen flying around.

When I read your eye-witness accounts, I believe that you have really seen something exotic or unknown, and yet I can’t fully accept it wholeheartedly.

This causes a frustrating dissonance in my mind, a dissonance between belief, doubt, hope and hopelessness. For some reason, it doesn’t feel entirely the same as “healthy skepticism.” I’m not even “skeptical,” certainly not cynical, or even apathetic. But the experience is somewhat exhausting, and I almost feel gaslighted by psy-ops. The frustrating dissonance places a porous membrane between the experiencer and the non-experiencer.

Do you have a similar experience to whatever this “frustrating dissonance” is that nags at the back of the mind, which exists between full acceptance and normal skeptical appraisal?
