Grusch/Kirkpatrick emails? Was Grusch willing to testify but couldn’t, or didn’t want to testify?

I’m down the rabbithole and am trying to figure out this whole Grusch/Kirkpatrick thing. I’ve been out of the loop for a little while, and google is failing me.

At about 12m45s, Matt Ford says there are emails between Grusch and Kirkpatrick. Sounds like Kirkpatrick was maybe trying to entrap Grusch? Does anyone know what the source is on this or a link to the emails or anything?
