Help me make sense of this please

ALTHOUGH MY USERENAME CONTINS “RICKROLL” IT IS SERIOUS POST!

First of all sorry for the bad sketch! I tried to make it as “realistic” as I could on my daughters pad.

But coming back to the reason why I am posting this here.

I have not been very open about this event nor do I have discussed it with persons who I have witnessed it. But this has been bugging me my whole life and I would like to speak out and maybe get a rational explanation to this.

Just to get some background. This happened around 1993-1994. I was about 7 y/o. In 1991 the USSR collapsed and country that I live in was part of this hideous thing. The USSR was all about collective farming thus we still had 3-4 cows, some chicken, gees etc. It was a June summer. It was around 20:00. We went to get the cows from the field, milk them and feed them. As we were done the time was about 21:30-22:00. We saw a strange fireball in the sky. It just hang there. At some point smaller fireballs shot out of the larger fireball and shot back in there. Just to be clear on our longitude 22:00 at night in June is not dark at all! We watched this about 30min and all of the sudden the bigger fireball just vanished. OK…. this was cool!

The next day, at the same time the same thing happened again! Just like the day before.
The same fire display – big firey ball and smaller fireballs shooting in and out of the bigger ball.

I talked about it with my classmate (later in years when we were at college) who (not at the time) is a sattelite engineer. He´s reason was that it was caused by a methane gas from the swamp. The kicker is that there is no swamp nearby and the fireball was too high at the atmosphere – I think it was around 500-600m high.

If anyone has had a similar experience and has an explanation to this please do let me know! This has been bugging me for 30 years now!
