I saw a UFO

I saw a UFO closer than probably almost anyone. I was a teenager and in the middle of the night I woke up and felt the urge to look out my bedroom window. When I did I saw a not quite a disk but more of an oval shaped craft. Black but emitting a sort of green light silently floating away from my house. It was maybe a foot or two above the telephone poles and just slowly moved from over my house to over the neighbors and kept going until it was gone.

I never believed in anything extraordinary before that but that night changed my life.
