I’m guessing this amendment fiasco all came from the Pass the Gavel meeting

Pure speculation but here’s my guess on what went down.

M. Rogers is in attendance for the pass the gavel meeting and gets word or is in collusion with shooting down the Schumer amendment.

M. Gaetz pesters the hell out of him about what went down in the meeting and Rogers caves and tells him, “The amendment is dead in the water. It’s not going to be approved. If you want to continue with your little UAP/UFO discoveries you’d better put something together by this afternoon.”

Gaetz meets with Burchett and tells him the news so they get together and scribble something down like it’s the final hour to turn in a term paper.

To save face, Gaetz goes on twitter/x to grandstand and politicize why he couldn’t get the Schumer amendment through and how his last minute term paper is just as good if not better cause it’s not tainted with a democrats name.

Again, just pure speculation but I feel like there’s much more happening behind the scenes than we think and ultimately everyone is trying to cover their own butts.
