In 2001 the US Air Force revealed their own flying saucer and Clementine doesn’t seems to remember that

I have a personal story to tell you. It was around 2001. The US Air Force showed us a rotating flying disk of their own. A real one. It was a metallic disk, with a dome, and it has a “hole” below from which you were able to see flashes of different colors during “flight”. Of course, that thing was super secret, but they showed us anyway. They said it was made of a super secret alloy. (It looked metallic as far as I can tell). The interesting thing? According to them, it was made of one single piece, and it didn’t have an engine, propulsion system, nor it consumed any fuel. (It carried no energy generator at all.) Yet, it was able to fly.

How, you may ask? Magic? Alien technology? The power of the mind?

Here is where the plot becomes strange. I remember the story of a medium who worked with the Air Force guys, and who told them about Atlantis and flying saucers. (Yes, I now, but stick with me for a second. You will understand soon enough.) She (or was a he?) claimed that this technological devices “ride over beams of light”, or something like that, and that the beams of light were shot by mystical crystals or diamonds. Strangely enough, if you are familiar with the Majic documents, whatever you think there is validity on those or not, somewhere I remember they mention there was no engine or propulsion system found in the Roswell crash site. (They speculated the engine disintegrated during the explosion, but the absence of engine or energy source is repeated in other flying saucers crashes and it could indicate an offworldly propulsion system.)

So, how this thing was able to fly, and where this was shown? Are you some kind of military contractor or self-proclaimed whistleblower? Well, to the second question, not at all. I’m afraid I lied a bit. This is not exactly a personal story, though I haven’t found any additional information online about it, which I guess it makes it personal. They actually showed this in Discovery News, a science show in Discovery Channel. (Way back when Discovery Channel was about science.) They showed other stuff as well, like a satellite who hunt other satellites. (The traitor!) I don’t remember every detail, but I remember they made the disk to rotate. (I don’t remember if they did this by hand, or using some kind of mechanism. The disk was about one to four meters diameter, so it wasn’t made to carry people.) Then, they shot the disk with a catapult, and shot at it with lasers. (Solid-state lasers use lenses and mirrors, so there you have your mystical crystals. You could use diamonds as well, but it would make the laser way too expensive.) The lasers were shot inside the “hole”, which wasn’t a hole but an inverted cone, and the refraction kept the disk on the air because of the “special properties” of the “secret alloy” it was made. It looked cool though.

And there you have it. Flying saucers made by the military are not a new thing. These things are part of our culture, we grew up with them, so it makes sense for engineers, who probably are sci-fi fans, to ask themselves: “How this things fly?” And them, if the opportunity arises, to try to find out.

Of course, this could also be part of a reverse engineered project, or a distraction campaign to make people believe these things have belonged to them all along. Curiously enough, I have had very bad luck trying to find information about this online. Maybe someone else here remember it, or have better luck looking into it than me.

Remember: the Millennium Falcon and the USS Enterprise are, after all, flying saucers. So, even if they don’t exist (if they don’t), we are still going to make them. Some day. Somehow. It’s in our nature.
