Intentions of nhi

One thing I haven’t read here is that there is a strong possibility that the Human race are the villains in all of this. This thought comes after my own research and talking to someone extremely well read on the subject. Any species can only progress due to cooperation. The human race have been able to cooperate over millennia to advance society to where we are now. However, there are limits to this cooperation. We are not developed enough as a species to cooperate on a truly global scale; hence, racism, homophobia, genocide, hatred etc. Our cooperation is limited to companies, nations, political parties, currency etc. These are all essentially fictional creations that we can all align to.

An advanced nhi is likely to have overcome these differences (if they ever had them to begin with). It is therefore highly likely they are peaceful in nature, keen to understand the universe.

Thr human race on the other hand our dangerous. Even now we have not evolved enough as a species to responsibly use the technology we have now. Let’s say we developed the technology for interstellar travel. It’s very likely that some nations would load the craft up with nuclear weapons and explore the cosmos with nefarious intent, putting advanced civilisations under threat. Putin would relish the opportunity. Note the uap interest in nuclear weapons.

We are the danger. If we have managed to shoot down advanced uaps then any kind of reverse engineering can only be primarily for military use. War, subjugation, destruction etc
