Cherubim are “angels” described several thousand years ago as a mashup of animal and human-like features. Genesis writes that the first humans were exiled by God after an infraction within the Garden of Eden, and that God sent out these creatures to “guard” the Tree of Life. Aside from the story, the description of beings from the sky with animal and human-like features is supported by multiple world religions over thousands of years. Moreover, Throne is another “angel” described as a ball of light like an orb.
