If you haven’t heard his story you should give it a listen. It coincides with what my unit was told at Eglin in 2009, which was, occasionally “space junk” falls in the waters surrounding the base and “If we got lucky, we might get to see some of it”! I believe we were told this to prepare us to deal with a UAP crash. I know from personal experience after visiting Site C6 on Eglin https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eglin_AFB_Site_C-6 that UFOs/UAPs were tracked there in the 1980’s from a former radar technician that worked at the facility.
