July 10, 1947: Just two days after the Roswell Daily Record’s front page screamed “RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region”, President Harry S. Truman is asked the following question at a press conference: “Mr. President, have you seen any flying saucers?”
