Just bumped into the idea of what happens when you have an AI singularity in a simulation.
The simulation hypothesis is that once you have advanced enough technology you can simulate the world, therefore the odds of this world being a base level reality and not a simulation could be very low.
Now we are making great strides in AI and one theory is that once AI reaches human level intelligence or higher it can very quickly improve itself to become a super intelligence. This is referred to as a Singularity as what happens next will be beyond the intelligence of mere humans.
But if were in a simulation and an AI hit’s the Singularity what happens next?
Which got me thinking if were in a simulation then could UFO’s be the next level ups tourists, robots, admins or even Animal Rights Protestors who might view simulated humans the way we view lab animals.
Or if we are in a Simulation, what do you think UFOs might be, glitches, admins, animal rights protestors, travelling chefs (cattle mutilations)?
PS: Animal rights protestors still works if you use the Zoo hypothesis (Fermi Paradox solutions).
