Local gatherings

Are there any efforts by folks to have actual physical meet ups to be around like minded folks? Or is everyone to lazy or have a spouse (like me) who doesn’t enjoy us spending our time on this. I guess what I’m saying is the disclosure that will eventually come from the gov is the same government that has covered this stuff up for years and that possibly they won’t give us answers that satisfy our questions but if there is a network of bathed, sane, deodorant wearing folks to spread just information about this stuff it might be helpful. Clearly I wouldn’t be in the communication department of said group due to run on sentences and general disregard for punctuation. Either way is there an interest in this or are there already groups? United States anyway.
