@marksatter: “Sen. Rounds tells me there is still some movement on his and Schumer’s UAP provision in the NDAA. Some modifications being discussed but no final word yet.”

In his tweet available here journalist Mark Satter, who is a politics and natural security reporter for RollCall states:

“Sen. Rounds tells me there is still some movement on his and Schumer’s UAP provision in the NDAA. Some modifications being discussed but no final word yet.”

Additionally, in response, Joshua White replied to the tweet stating “If modifications are still “being discussed,” it’s unlikely we’ll see final language in print today. #UAPDisclosureAct” however he does note that the 48 hour requirement can be waived before voting on language.

Joe Murgia (@TheUfoJoe) just chimed in as well with the following tweet, which supports the notion of the language still being worked on:

I just called Gillibrand, Schumer and Rounds. I left messages of thanks and appreciation for the first two and spoke to one of the staffers for Rounds. He told me that Rounds was still working on the language but no update yet on what happened. With all three, I expressed my opinion that if this is really non-human in nature, it’s the most important legislation we’ve ever had in this country, and the world.
