Hello, I’ll keep it short and simple. I’m into amateur astronomy and I enjoy my fair share of night sky sightseeing.
With or without using my telescope i can clearly see tons of tiny lights moving across the night sky every night, each of them relatively quick in their own trajectory and independant . My question is this. What are they? I do believe them to be artificial space satelites reflecting the sunglight back to earth, but it boggles me.
Shouldn’t the light be pretty hard to see because the satelite is not that big to be as luminous as some stars, but then again, they’re pretty close. Why are there so many and crossing paths? How to identify if what i’m seeing is a satelite or a genuine ufo.
I have seen some pretty weird stuff tho, a single light becoming several and then again merging into one. Lights moving in formation and so forth.
What are the key indicators of if what i’m seeing is a ufo and not a satelite?
