My 3 sightings and something else…

Figure now is as good a time as any to tell everyone about the sightings I’ve had. I’ve been interested in this topic since my first sighting and have been following it very close since Leslie Kean’s article in the Times in 2017. The latest whistleblower coming forth who is to be on News Nation with Ross Coulthart has inspired me to tell you my stories. One was a no doubter, 1 was recent and probably a no doubter, 1 was so odd that when i think about it I’m not even sure if it actually happened and “something else” happened that just left me puzzled altogether…

First Sighting: So I was a kid, I really don’t remember what my age was but I remember so I figure i was south or north a year or two of 10 years old. This puts my sighting roughly in the early 90s. I always say I was 8 years old but really I have no idea but I was a kid and I was aware. Anyways, My dad was a lead guitarist in a band at the time called “Fire Mountain Band”. We lived in Groton, NY but this particular night we were in Lansing, NY i believe and we we’re at a dinner party for Passover Seder. My dad’s Pianist was Jewish and he had invited us over for dinner. This puts the sighting in a late March to Early April time frame of whatever year it was which again I can’t tell you for sure. I believe we we’re just finishing up and I remember the food being just awful and there was a commotion outside. Besides my family of 5 (Dad, Ma, 2 sisters and me) there was his family which i believe was 4 and i think there may have been some other guests as well. So it wasn’t just me that saw this. I go outside with practically everyone else to see what the fuss was about. Keep in mind that when your a kid, everything seems bigger than it is, right? I look up and see what looks to me like a Giant Black Triangle in the sky. Football Field Sized, just slowly moving across the sky and maybe rotating at the same time, but just as slow. Completely silent. Probably watched it for several minutes and when amazement turned into fear, I ran back inside. I was just a kid… I regret not staying out there to see where it went. But this was a no brainer of a sighting. Thoughts? Questions?

Second Sighting: So this is a more modern sighting, maybe 2 years ago or so and I reported it to MUFON at the time but life got busy and when the MUFON Field Investigator called I really wasn’t able to follow up on it with them. Shouldn’t be hard to find on the database just search for Southwick, MA. Anyways, me and my son, we were outside satellite watching. My son is autistic and when he finds an interest he obsesses about it of course and at the time, that was satellites. So we would go outside on a clear night and watch for them and try to identify them uses apps on the phone. We were in my front lawn which faces North and i was looking West and saw this bright light. I quickly got Caleb’s attention and we watched it move north to south in the western sky, fairly high up cause it was above the tree line. Checked the app, couldn’t find it seemingly so we chalked it up as a “Mystery Satellite” as we call them. Probably military or spy sat or something that they don’t show on the app. Makes sense right? It was as brightly lit up as the ISS or CSS when they pass by. Like it was lit up by the sun. Very clear and bright. Not more than a minute later, Another? bright light comes across the sky, this time south to north in the western sky, like exactly where the one just went to. Is this the same object, i thought? It was the exact same thing seemingly, same area just going the opposite way. How is that possible? This time I’m puzzled a bit, not sure if I alerted Caleb to it this time cause I was trying to figure out what I was seeing. It goes behind a tree and I seem to lose track of it so I walk out toward the road to try to see behind the tree and *PEW* I see something just shoot out into space. Like a meteor but up, slanted like a meteor’s trail but going up, not down. Was it the light I had just seen? I don’t know and it all happened so quick, I can only second guess what i saw cause it just seemed so surreal. I still second guess myself on this one. Thoughts? Questions?

Third Sighting: So this happened few weeks ago. It was right before spring break, that last Friday before break. Me and a co-worker, we were up on the roof of our workplace getting soccer balls off the roof. I work at a local school. This was around 7:00PM. It was a beautiful sunset though the sun was not yet setting, just low in the sky. There we’re planes all over the sky at the time. Probably up to half a dozen or so. Some high, some low, all clearly visible mind you and discernable. The high ones leaving contrails, the low ones rising or landing at Bradley Int’l Airport just south of us. It was quite the setting, breeze was blowing the American flag, there was a couple softball/baseball games going on and then my co-worker alerted me to a bald eagle flying nearby, looking south. “whoa”. As my eyes followed the eagle my eye caught something in the background. A flash.. Not a flash like a strobe light but more like the sun reflecting off a metal surface. Must a be a plane. The light got real bright slowly then dimmed to nothing. Didn’t see a plane there, didn’t see anything. Then it did it again, lit up slowly real bright, then dimmed as slow to nothing. It did this several times, maybe 5-7 times. The light wasn’t moving away from us, it wasn’t moving horizontally to us. It really didn’t seem to be moving at all, just sort of was staying in the same area. Moving, but not. Each time it dimmed, you couldn’t see anything there. Than it dimmed for the last time and was gone. The whole sighting was maybe 5 minutes. What was it? I don’t know, but it wasn’t a plane. Mind you, it was still broad daylight but this thing was lighting up clear as day, very bright. I don’t know. Thoughts? Questions?

Something Else: So this last one is just ….weird. No other way to describe it. Me and my wife we’re in bed one night, was getting late, few minute before midnight. This was 5-10 years ago, before covid for sure. We lived in a two family home at the time and our bedroom was opposite the upstairs neighbors driveway on our headboard side of the bed. As well as the driveway was their entranceway and stairs that led to their front door upstairs. So, we are laying there and we hear what sounds like a truck pull into the driveway. I say that cause that’s what it sounded like, loud, clunky and it was seemingly directly opposite the wall we were laying against. We are laying there and its just kind of like, huh, wonder who this is. Didn’t hear anyone get out or get in or go up or down the stairs. It’s been a few minutes i think and the sound started to get louder. I look at my wife and I’m like, wtf is that? She kind of brushed it off, “i don’t know”. But the sound just kept getting louder and louder until it seemed as if the sound itself was no longer on the outside of the house and the wall but inside the room and so loud i couldn’t hear myself talk. WTF is going on right now?? it was alarming, I wasn’t curious or laughing, I was alarmed, alert. I didn’t know wtf was happening. My wife told me to look outside but at this point i was scared honestly. After many minutes of this, not sure exactly how long, the sounds fairly quickly trailed away to silence. As it did i looked out the window. Nothing in the driveway, nothing going down the street (we lived on a dead end road and the window faced looking down the street). It was just after midnight. I thought that was weird and very movie like, figures this is happening at midnight. After several minutes of being like WTF, we settled down and tried to go back to sleep. I don’t know how much time passed, not long though, I hear, *DING*. This ding is the alarm on my sliding glass door going off when you open the door. We both opened our eyes wide in terror at each other. Holy shit! My wife shamed me into getting up and going to investigate it. The doors we’re shut. Nobody in the house, nothing. More weirdness, what the hell is going on tonight. After even more talking and stuff, we go to bed and to sleep. *Next Day*
Me and the wife we’re walking back from the bus stop that morning and our neighbor was outside. As we passed he stopped us and ironically our thing was to talk about UFOs. Before I could say anything he asks me, “So have you had anything weird happen lately?” and I immediately knew what he was referring to. I said something to the effect of, “holy shit you heard the noises last night too?” He said something like, “yeah, i looked out the window i didn’t see anything”. So then and there we came to the conclusion that it had to be UAP, what else could it have been? Thoughts? Questions?
