This post is not directly about UFOs, but a related paper on potential Dyson Sphere candidates recently identified in the milky way galaxy as part of Project Hephaistos – how they reduced a list of 5 million stars in the Milky Way to just seven through the process of elimination.

I spoke to one of the co-authors of the paper, Priyatam K. Mahto, a young researcher from the Indian Institute of technology, Indore, currently at the University of Chile.

This DOES NOT mean those seven stars have DS around them. They are just candidates that display behavior consistent with DS, according to their modelling, and do not have any other explanation. So they all warrant further investigation. Just some interesting science from the mainstream efforts to search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence
