We are at a point now that a non-human intelligence’s presence on earth has been implicitly confirmed. Yes the govt is maliciously hiding things but that’s not the biggest story here. The big story is we are likely not alone. While the mainstream news focuses on Taylor Swift and proxy wars, we are left here trying to come to grips with this ontologically shocking situation.
The implications are exciting and overwhelming. We have many more questions than answers at this juncture. I believe that more information will come out in our lifetimes but that the full story may take generations.
While actions of calling reps, pushing media, organizing against the war pigs are still very important, I want to challenge you all and myself to ponder and discuss the ontological implications.
Here are my personal thoughts lately
if there is one NHI, the universe is likely teeming with life
NHI species are likely varied and a spectrum of benevolent and malevolent just like us
our current materialistic view of physics is not the whole picture and about to get seriously challenged
traditional religious viewpoints are going to be strained and shocked but if the universe is driven by an intelligent force, perhaps there is room for religion to adapt; it won’t be easy for dogmatic thinkers
i suspect that the ‘woo’ is real. What does that mean to me? Remote viewing, astral projection, Near Death Experiences and the probability of some NHI manipulating our perception is likely
traditional power structures and governments are going to come under great strain. Imagine if we implement quantum communication, limitless energy sources and interstellar travel. Elon Musk and the like are going to fight this to death.
here’s my punchline:
we don’t know what will happen and the great unknown is scary. But we can lean into this with open minds and hearts. We can explore the fact that we are likely much more connected to each other and the universe than we know. We can talk, philosophize and try out things that previously sounded crazy (remote viewing, astral projections etc).
We should not let bureaucrats and tech hoarders prevent us from exploring on our own terms.
