I understand for national security reasons, compartmentalizing information is good so information cannot get out to adversaries but once congress is looking for information shouldn’t the different people within the government with the information they know on the topic come forward and give the requested information?
We are literally looking at a faction of the government, or contractors for the government, willingly withholding information from the government and the people for their own interests.
Shouldn’t Congress not need to “look under the right rocks and ask the right questions”?
We can’t trust the people within the government who can’t trust Congress.
