Revised post – NYC backyard cam footage

A user recommended I create another post with more clear links to the light I caught on Wednesday, dec. 6th around 11:30PM. I have a ring cam in the backyard that overlooks the back yard/deck area, and while my roommate was taking out recyclables, I noticed something in the sky that was behaving in a really strange manner. You can see it in the top left frame of the video here – it sort of hovers, drops, hovers, and then zips away to the right of the sky.

For context, I’m based in NYC, on the border of Brooklyn and Queens and my yard cam faces west. This was on Dec. 6th around 11:30PM
