Shared sighting

I have been on the fence about talking about this for a while, but here it goes. In 2020, I was at a friend’s house looking out of her window. It was about 8pm during summer, so the sun was setting at this point. I noticed around 7-8 lights above a prominent mountain in our area about 10km away. Initially, I thought they were seagulls flapping their wings as the sun was setting and the mountain had light cast around it. As I kept watching, I realized that they were solid points of light that were shimmering like stars but very rapidly. They would be bright for a second, and then they would dim, and repeat. It was like using one of those light switches on a wall that you can dim and brighten, but rapidly. Once I noticed how odd this was, they all disappeared at once.

A day later, I met up with a friend after his work shift. He was driving pretty much directly underneath the mountain in the evening. He seemed a little antsy and he told me he had seen something strange on his drive. He said that he looked up and about 40 feet above the road, there was a metal, spherical ball floating above the road. He said it was about the size of a commercial helicopter, and made no sound. Unfortunately, he was going through a pass so he had no space to pull over and take any pictures.

I had not told him about my experience, and he didn’t think much of it until I described what I had saw to him. I don’t really know what to think of it, and sometimes I wonder if we really did see anything of value. But despite the human perception of things, we both remember vividly seeing strange happenings those two nights in the same area.

Sorry for the long post
