Significant and not coincidental:
• The Great Pyramid points to true north with an accuracy better than 1/15th of a degree and the other three faces (edit: originally said corners) point to the other cardinal directions: source If you divide the perimeter of the base of the Great Pyramid by the height . you get 2pi with less than 0.01% error. The ratio of the slant height of the Great Pyramid to half of its base is equal to the golden ratio and accurate to three decimal places. Half the base is used because that’s part of the triangle that the slant height would form with the ground. Source for the previous statements. Using the same triangle used in the golden ratio calculation, the ratio of the two non-right angles is half of Euler’s number, i.e. e, with 0.035% error: source. The prior calculation requires calculating the angles of the triangle from scratch using trigonometry since the values that can be found online are always rounded.
Significant but maybe coincidental:
• The Great Pyramid can collect and concentrate electromagnetic energy in a manner that is worth studying and applying on the nanoscale: source. • If you rescale and rotate the stellar map of the Orion belt and overlay it with a topographic map of the pyramids of Giza, the stars line up with the apexes of the pyramids with an error less than what can be achieved with the unaided human eye. One critique of this theory is that this requires flipping the stellar map upside down. This is not really an issue since the Egyptians likely put south at the top of their maps because the Nile river flows from south to north. Also if south is at the top of the map, then the pyramids would be on the side of the Nile that corresponds with the side of the Milky Way that the Drion Belt is on: The Egyptians viewed the Milky Way as a river and would have associated the Nile with such. Another critique of the theory is that you still have to rotate the stellar map after turning it upside down, unless the stellar map is based on 11450 bc. Despite this, the pyramids definitely seem to have some correlation with the Orion belt, further evidence being that the apparent heights of the pyramids, i.e. the height of each pyramid in respect to the base of the Great Pyramid, has a -0.9993 correlation with the brightness of the stars in the Orion Belt. Source • The pyramids may be correlated to Mercury, Venus, and Earth, as the relative distance between each planets orbit would be accurate under certain conditions. This does require an arbitrary placement for the Sun, but the pyramids do have some other weird coincidences relating to Mercury, Venus, and Earth. I have verified the following calculations, and the first two are somewhat off the but the last one is very close. As a reminder or for those of you who are not aware, the names of the pyramids of Giza from smallest to largest are Mykerinos, Chefren, and Cheops. • volume of Cheops / volume of Chefren = volume of Earth / volume of Venus • base length of Cheops / base length of Mykerinos = aphelion of Earth / aphelion of Mercury . base length of Cheops / speed of light = volume of Earth / volume of Sun • The ratio of the base perimeter of the Great Pyramid with the Earth’s equatorial circumference is 1:43200 with 0.7% relative error.

The source claims less than 0.01% error for each calculation but l’m guessing they used absolute error instead of relative error (I calculated the relative errors). Anyways, these calculations are normally dismissed as a coincidence since 43200 is a seemingly arbitrary number, but if the pyramids are somehow tied to time cycles or the end of times, then I have found the following: ◦ The time from Adam to Noah up until the flood was 1656 years or 86400 weeks. Half of 86400 is 43200. Source • Noah was 600 when the flood came, and 600 * 72 = 43200. 72 is the number of hidden names of God in Judaism, and those 72 names were used by Moses to part the Red Sea • The Earth completes 1 degree of the circle at the top of its precession every 72 years. As in the previous calculation, 72 * 600 = 43200. Source. This is the example commonly cited by Graham Hancock. • The ten kings of Babylonia ruled for 432000 years before the flood came: source. • In Norse mythology, during the Day of Ragnarok, i.e., a battle at the end of days, 800 soldiers will come out from each one of 540 doors to fight alongside Odin. 800 * 540 = 43200. Source. • There are 43200 seconds in half a day. This could signify a shift from daytime to nighttime and fits the theme of time cycles and the end of days • Edit: The volume of the sarcophagus using the outer dimensions from here is 1/137th of the volume of the King’s chamber using these dimensions. obtained 0.2% relative error. 1/137 is a fundamental constant called the fine structure constant and is related to elementary charge and the strength of electromagnetic interaction: source. Originally I put this in the “most likely coincidental” section, but given the pyramids’ general relationship to light, the accuracy of the calculation, and the fact the King’s chamber is empty beyond the sarcophagus, I think this is less of a coincidence. It is also amusing that the relative error is smaller compared to 1/137.036, the more exact fine structure constant value, than compared to 1/137 • Edit: The difference in the circumferences of the outer circle of the Great Pyramid (the circle enclosing the base) and the inner circle of the Great Pyramid (circle enclosed by the base) is a very close approximation of the speed of light. The diameter of the inner circle is 440 Egyptian cubits, and thus the diameter of the outer circle is sqrt(2)440 Egyptian cubits using the Pythagorean theorem. Then the difference between the circumferences in meters will be 440(sqrt(2)-1)pipi/6 = 299.795760 (1 Egyptian cubit= pi/6 meters). While this isn’t exactly 299.792458 like the speed of light, the relative error is 0.001% and the relative error increases to 0.2% if the base length of the Great Pyramid were 439 or 441 Egyptian cubits instead. This encoding may turn out to be even more exact if we knew the original dimensions of the Great Pyramid more precisely, or perhaps the Egyptians simply stuck to whole Egyptian cubits
Not significant or most likely coincidental
• The Great Pyramid is located at the latitude coordinates with the same numbers as the speed of light. It is true that the aforementioned coordinates fall inside the Great Pyramid, but they are 11m south from the apex and thousands of other latitude coordinates fall within the confines of the Great Pyramid. Since the continent of Africa has been drifting north, perhaps in 2600 bc the apex would have lined up with those coordinates, but I haven’t seen such calculations done anywhere. In its prime, the pyramids would have reflected the light of the sun and been very bright and the Great Pyramid concentrates radio waves inside its chambers and under its base, so the pyramids definitely have some relation to light. • The ratio of the height to the base length of the Great Pyramid is the same as the ratio of the combined polar radii of the Earth and Moon compared to the diameter of the Earth. I think this is likely a coincidence because it’s a very strange way to encode the radius of the Moon, and also a height of 279 Egyptian cubits would lead to less relative error than the actual height Of 280 Egyptian cubits. Here’s the calculation nevertheless: ◦ 280 Egyptian cubits / 440 Egyptian cubits = 0.63636. ◦ Using data from NASA’s Moon Fact Sheet: (1736.0 + 6356.8) / (6378.1 * 2) = 0.63442
