Something That Keeps Me Conflicted About This Subject

I am relatively new to the UAP/UFO subject. I really only started paying attention over the Summer when we heard testimony from David Grusch. I used to believe that intelligent life was out there, but we would never see or hear from them. Now, I tend to believe that they could actually be here.

Ever since the Summer, I have been consumed with personal research into this topic. I’ve listened to people like David Grusch, Daniel Sheehan, Lue Elizondo, and have tried to steer clear of people who seem like they’re just trying to extract a bit of money and fame out of this stuff.

The biggest things that compel me to believe the presence of non-human intelligence on our planet are the objects that outperform any human capability, the fact that they cannot be linked to any existing human technology, and the very clear extent to which the U.S. Government has gone to keep us in the dark as to what all of this really is. There is very clearly something highly advanced happening that the U.S. Government does not want the public nor congress to know about.

Now, I know that many people here don’t care for Neil Degrasse Tyson due to his apparent ego and the pleasure he seems to derive from his monologues. Regardless, I have always respected him and enjoyed listening to what he has to say about other topics unrelated to UFOs. As someone who really enjoys his perspectives, I find his lack of curiosity on the current happenings to be disappointing.

In any case, there is one simple thing that NDT refers to that keeps me conflicted on the matter and nobody seems to directly answer this: for all of the smart phones we have just sitting in peoples pockets, all of the commercial flights going about the world on a daily basis, all of the privately owned telescopes – why do we not have any real compelling videos of UAP/UFO? Could disinformation have really obfuscated all of the good existing sightings or is there another explanation?

P.S. – I am quite invested in this subject and I believe that an explanation/disclosure of what the U.S. Government is hiding with UAP needs to come out, regardless of what it actually is.
