Subjective Effect Index and Alien Entity Experiences

I have been thinking about the entity experiences I have had in the past both from both drug and meditative states and other people’s reported experiences with aliens. One source of classification of these experiences is the subjective effect index. I myself have encountered entities in both drug and meditative states. In the parlance of the effect index I have had up to level 3 entity experiences with communication up to level 5 on drugs. And in meditative states up to level 2 and level 5 in communication. I have no reason to doubt that non drug states can include up to level 3 entities.

I have never met an alien, but (on drugs and in meditative states) I have met geometric entities, shadow people, lizard entities, angelic beings, jesters, and indescribable monstrosities. But for others aliens are commonly reported. I guess I personally don’t believe any of the entities I meet existed anywhere other than my mind.

I wonder if other people are having similar experiences outside of drug use or meditation. Is it possible that these well documented states can be reached in non-meditative and non-drug related states? What would be the difference between an true alien encounter and an entity encountered while on psychedelics, in meditative states, or in other states that may induce these subjective effects? As a third party how would we be able to tell the difference? Given the well documented nature of experiences is this a possible explanation for alien encounters?
