I am writing to you today to inquire about the progress that has been made in ending the Pentagon’s UFO disinformation campaign.

As you know, the Pentagon has a long history of denying the existence of UFOs and dismissing credible reports of UFO sightings. This disinformation campaign has had a number of negative consequences, including:

Discouraging people from reporting UFO sightings, which has made it difficult to collect data on this important phenomenon.

Undermining the credibility of the Pentagon and the US government.

Fueling speculation and conspiracy theories about UFOs.

In recent years, the Pentagon has begun to take UFOs more seriously. In 2020, the Pentagon established the Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group (AOIMSG) to investigate UFO sightings. In June 2021, the Director of National Intelligence released a report on UFOs that acknowledged that UFOs are real and that they pose a potential threat to national security.

However, despite these recent developments, the Pentagon is still not doing enough to end its UFO disinformation campaign. For example, the Pentagon has not released all of the classified information that it has on UFOs. Additionally, the Pentagon has not done enough to educate the public about UFOs and to dispel the stigma associated with reporting UFO sightings.

I urge you to take the following steps to end the Pentagon’s UFO disinformation campaign:

Hold hearings on UFOs to investigate the Pentagon’s role in covering up UFO information.

Declassify all of the classified information that the Pentagon has on UFOs.

Educate the public about UFOs and dispel the stigma associated with reporting UFO sightings.

I believe that it is important for the American people to know the truth about UFOs. By ending its UFO disinformation campaign, the Pentagon can help to advance our understanding of this important phenomenon and ensure that we are prepared to deal with the potential threat that UFOs pose to national security.
