It has come to my attention that Mike Turner is working to prevent congressional access and investigation of important disclosures made by whistleblowers deemed credible and urgent by inspector generals of the executive branch. Due to his actions in opposition of safeguards that ensure our collective freedoms and due to his financial conflicts of interest, I demand that you introduce and support legislation that results in suspension or permanent removal of Ohio’s 10th district representative, Mike Turner, from his position on the Permanent Select Committee On Intelligence and Gang of Eight. I also urge a reevaluation of the history, vulnerabilities, and power such centralized committees carry and hope you will create and support further legislation that removes potential harbors for corruption. The motives in which we keep our national secrets are core to our country and of global importance.
