Thoughts on the “US National Archives” YT channel

This is something I’ve thought about quite a few times and just wanted to air my thoughts out about and see if anyone else had similar feelings. I’ll try to keep it short and concise but I apologize in advance if it turns into a meaningless tangent.

I’m willing to bet most of those in this sub are familiar with the Eyes On Cinema YT channel (and if you’re not you really should be), but a channel I haven’t seen posted much about is the US National Archives. I don’t believe every video on the channel is devoted to Ufology but the videos that are, are quite incredible in my opinion. Several videos predate the modern UFO wave and take place only a handful of years after Roswell.

I already feel like this is getting long winded but I guess what I wanted to say is that for some reason I get an uneasy feeling when seeing those old videos depicting unknowns in the sky; long before the space age and more modern rocketry. A lot of the old archival videos posted from Eyes On Cinema give off a similar tone but there’s something particular about the National Archives and how the material is presented that makes me feel like it’s top secret found footage that we’re not supposed to see. It’s really hard to explain and the more I type the more stupid this post seems to me, but I do feel slightly better after airing this out.

Have you seen the footage from that channel? How do you feel about what you’ve seen?
