I just spotted this on tiktok and thought I would give my thoughts. I visited Tibet 10 years ago. About my trip. I didn’t know I would get a visa until 12 hours before my flight from China to Tibet. I had minders with me for my entire trip, the car we traveled in was recording us the entire time. I had to get a second visa to leave Lhasa, when we left Lhasa, there were armed check points every few miles. You had to get a time stamp at the start and end of each check point.
