Christopher Sharp with the Liberation Times details the initiative of members in the congressional UAP Caucus to establish a select committee to investigate UAP.
Sharp says that although there was pessimism over the establishment of the select committee earlier on in the year, tides are changing:
“Earlier this year, a member of the UAP Caucus, Representative Tim Burchett met with Speaker Johnson to discuss UAP.
Representative Burchett said the meeting ‘went really well’ – raising expectation of a UAP hearing. However, at the time he was less optimistic about a dedicated UAP Select Committee, telling Matt Laslo:
‘But the select committee – that’s staffing, that’s money, that’s hassle, so I don’t just see that happening.’
Since Representative Burchett’s comments, Liberation Times understands there has been a shift, indicating a higher probability of the formation of such a Subcommittee.”
