UFO in Ireland

I saw something that I can’t explain on Monday morning. As I was driving to work, heading East on the N69 near Askeaton, Co. Limerick at approximately 5.30 Am I saw a blue light shoot across the sky in an arc, and disappeared. It wasn’t a reflection on my windscreen as it only reflects my dashboard and there wasn’t a blue light to be seen anywhere else in the vicinity. It only lasted about 2 seconds but it was enough to startle me. The same morning it was cloudy and pouring rain, as per usual In Ireland. This would mean that it was between the ground and the clouds. Highly unlikely to be fireworks considering the weather, location and time of year. I’m baffled and in all my years driving to work at night and early hours, I have never witnessed anything like it.
