UFOs and Infrared Photography

Has anyone had any experience with using infrared photography for spotting or photographing UFOs that may be cloaking themselves? I have been looking into getting into infrared photography also just for fun. Looking into converting some cameras I have to full spectrum. But wondering, it seems the military planes utilize black and white FLIR which is basically a form of night vision. Would photography that captures full spectrum still work or would only a FLIR camera work? I’m curious as well what the stats for the spectrum are and if this is something we can figure out from a citizen science standpoint while our governments hide the technology. I’m also curious as to why a UFO would only hide visible light and not infrared if the cloaking tech is so advanced. With infrared photography you can also buy filters that start to filter out different ranges of light and infrared. Most regular cameras seem to only be able to go up to about 1000nm. Supposedly some FLIR sensors can go up to 15,000nm.
