UFOs over time

I have been interested in ufos my whole life. I do believe we can’t possibly know everything. The sheer vastness of space alone would lend to something more than just us being out there or here. But one thing that has always bothered me is the way ufos are depicted over time. If you look at pictures of ufos from the past, they look dated and old. To me that seems convenient, or human perception. Because time doesn’t run the same in space as it does here. I would be more impressed if we had a photo of a modern day ufo showing up in pictures 100 years ago. Has this been a topic of discussion before? Ive never seen anyone bring it up. I would love your thoughts on this.
