Photographing the moon during the eclipse I saw something very near to it that through the series of images seemed to eventually meet. To my eye it was as far away as the moon, not something tens of millions of miles away. It is not a smudge on the lens as this was done by hand and so the location of the moon in the photos varies much too widely for this to be the case. Best I can tell it was something on the surface of the sun? Please look closely at the photos and let me know what you think.
