What did I see tonight ?

I’m in Greensboro NC U.S.A… 8:40 pm

Looking into the sky (waiting for my dog to do her thing) and saw a small bright object that I thought might be a planet or satellite.

But standing and staring at it, I saw it was moving…. So probably a plane…

But then it started jumping quickly and somewhat erratically – in different directions… not anything that a plane or even a helicopter could accomplish

Being as high up as it seems, for it to jump an inch (in my sight from the ground) means it’s a pretty good distance for something to move in a split second.

And after watching it now for 20 minutes, it hasn’t moved out of my sight angle.
