What do you guys think this is?

I was sent this by a friend, this was some sort of object that was in her backyard. It started low and went higher and higher. Hovered over the area for well over an hour. And when daylight arrived it proceeded to disappear. It looks like some sort of square. She said that it seemed like it was watching her.
