Audio on. This was filmed on a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, at night. The subject is a commercial plane not more than 3000-5000 feet on its approach to Melbourne airport, Australia. The time is 10 o’clock p.m. on a clear warm summer evening Jan 20th. It is basically Astral Twilight, ie: there is still plenty of light around, you can see clearly without a torch. The point of this video is that even on such a high-end phone even at such a close distance this known object still looked like it was filmed on a fucking potato. I’ve also posted other videos taken during the day of far away aircraft and again they look like nothing but blurry blobs. So to all the skeptics who like to use the “we all have state of the art technology in our pockets” argument… don’t tell me that your phone could do any better.
