Would the world’s leaders disclose if the prison planet theory was correct?

For the longest time the prison planet theory sounded absurd to me, but the more you mull over the “woo” aspects, it fits the narrative nicely. But it’s so horrifying, can you imagine our governments revealing this if it were true?

Would there be government funded efforts to get people to avoid the tunnel of light?
