I just finished listening to Richard Dolan’s interview with James Landoli (if you haven’t listened, I recommend it). Dolan brings up a pretty strong argument that not only should we NOT rely on our government to aid in disclosure, but that the notion of a “controlled disclosure” is unreasonable. In essence, he doesn’t think that anything could be divulged without questions about the history of the phenomenon coming to the surface. He doesn’t think the public would accept anything other than full disclosure. To him, it isn’t practical to be able to “draw a line” where disclosure starts, and then stops.
I’m curious to see what the rest of the community thinks. Is a controlled disclosure process even feasible at all? Or is this an “all or nothing” scenario?
