The DOD was able to hand pick journalists from mainstream journalists to distribute the report and its message, if this is the level of control and coordination at the mainstream level, it’s not a big jump in logic to assume there are likely efforts focused on social media platforms… and considering the fashion in which they have diverted, deflected and in this case, lie on so many topics including UFOs. I would speculate the coordination on sites like this is probably significantly more than we think, regarding ensuring information is dampened, confused or drowned out.
