We need to collectively take a deep breath and not let suspicious activity derail our efforts

I firmly believe, as do other users here, that there is a very focused attempt to derail the conversation here. Coulhart is a grifter, Sheehan is a grifter, Elizondo is a grifter, etc… These are people that have literally dedicated their life to this issue. The idea that if one of them sells a book or promotes something then he is instantly suspect is in itself suspect. Considering the fact that they literally brought us to where we are now – a time where congressmen are hellbent on this topic trying to bring it to public attention, and the biggest newspapers are beginning to take this issue much more seriously – I would give them much more credit.

It’s hard not to notice just how outrageously compromised this sub is right now so we should all be extra sensitive to attempts to derail conversations and paint these advocates black simply because they also need to make a buck. It’s ridiculous. Literally some of the most ‘canonical’ issues in this topic came to our attention thanks to their work. Show me literally one professional youtube channel, or any artist or musician, hell – even scientists – that don’t do sponsors. It’s a part of the game. Don’t let it overshadow a rich history of serious, genuine work put into disclosure, and don’t let disinformation trolls plant seeds of hatred. That is all.

Although it seems like nothing is moving, I truly believe we are at an unprecedented stage right now. Congressional attention, less and less stigma surrounding the topic, legitimate academic work being done right now, even when I now talk to skeptics who never believed in the idea, their position has strongly mellowed down since Grusch came out.

There is enormous, unprecedented progress being made as we speak, and there is an equal counter response from those who are holding onto these secrets in a last desperate attempt. Have faith that we are on the right track and do what you can to help spread awareness, but most importantly, remain critical of any accusations you are now seeing against people whose reputation speaks for itself.

Although it is overwhelmingly frustrating to feel once again that nothing is moving and all is in vain, I genuinely believe in the last year this topic has gained such traction and momentum that it can’t be reversed. Sure, it will probably take some time, but it is coming.
