Mom took this photo “sometime last month”, south-central PA

I talk to my mom probably 5 or 6 times a year. I live in CO, she’s in PA. Anyways we were catching up tonight and she brought up this sighting she had sometime last month and sent me a photo.

She said her and my brother we outside talking and she saw an orange ball of light just traveling in a straight line across the sky. I asked if it seemed airplane altitude and she admitted she couldn’t tell because nothing else was around it. She said it traveled in a straight line for a few seconds that she saw, then it stopped and emitted the “plasma” looking stuff until it all just fades away. She made it very clear that she saw this light pulsing out of the source light with her own eyes it’s in no way a lens flare. While she was screaming at my brother to take video he got nothing but she got this pic. I told her I’d post it here and see if anyone had any ideas because I’ve never seen anything like that.
