In August 2014, the Director of the DIA, LTG Mike Flynn, is terminated by DNI James Clapper because of his “attitude”. In February 2017, a few days after starting his role as Trumps’ National Security Advisor, Flynn starts to “dig in” to certain CIA projects and is forced to resign a week later.
