The short of it is:

The vacuum behaves like both a superfluid and superconductive medium (a lot like a metamaterial)

If you could shield your vector potential from the rest of the universe at large, you would reduce or eliminate your inertia and therefore effective mass

Layman interpretation:
Electromagnetic vector potential determines your inertia. If you could shield your vector potential from the rest of the universe at large, you would reduce or eliminate your inertia and therefore effective mass. The way the crafts work as I understand it, is they reduce the speed of light around them through mediums enough that they will be able to spin fast enough so light doesn’t reach them, thus moving outside the laws of the universe, since no information can reach them.

My only goal with this post is to help spread the idea of inertia reduction and of the Machian universe model more into the “Zeitgeist” of the community. Antigravity as we understand it I believe is a red herring. Close enough to the truth to be believable but far enough so no one stumbles upon the other.
