The article and leak don’t make any sense to me. At its core, it actually makes Grusch seem like more of a hero for going through all that, keeping his clearances and then taking on the government to get the truth out. If anything, it’s more of a hit piece on the author.

I’m worried the point of the article is to establish an on-record pattern of drinking and suicidal thoughts. That way if he “ODs on pills while drinking heavily” they can brush it off as aligning with his past behavior. This is a bit conspiratorial for my regular post, but something just seems off.

Anyone know if there is any kind of GoFundMe or Patreon for the financial and physical security of whistleblowers? If not there should be (assuming it could be verified the money was actually being used properly).
