Are there historical government analogs for the disclosure playbook? I’m thinking “Me Too” is a good public analog for what could happen if this isn’t done correctly.

Sexual assault in Hollywood has been a problem that has plagued the industry for years.

Those that came forward and spoke truth to power “whistleblowers”, who had no support “protections”, were ostracized by others and the industry.

Law enforcement, press, and the public generally ignored and turned a blind eye to accusations (McGowen, Judd), thought people were crazy (Jolie), comically laughed off others (Love), and didn’t know because of shame (Paltrow) that Hollywood “elites” and others perpetrated these crimes and obfuscated reality. Sound familiar?

It wasn’t until there was mass uncontrolled disclosure “Me Too”, which pointed numerous fingers at specific individuals and groups that the press, law enforcement, and public started to care. I feel this is where we are in UAP disclosure.

The great news is that this reality was exposed and protections were put in place for those experience sexual assault.

This next part is pure analog for modeling and may define how uncontrolled disclosure may go.

Because disclosure came so fast, it overwhelmed the public mindset. False accusations, non-impropriety, etc. began to pop up in the news as overreaching definitions of sexual assault. For the record, I’m not arguing what is proper and not, I’m simply pointing out the nature of the general population when there are paradigm shifts as simple as “don’t make people feel sexual uncomfortable or you’ll get called out” start to become the norm.

This significant but small paradigm shift destabilized the lives of many for years because people were forced to rapidly rethink what the general public, for decades, felt was “okay” or would “slide”, both for men and women.

If it weren’t for decades of covering up this problem, our lives would not have been jarred by this explosive revelation. Perhaps if we addressed this issue properly in the first place, by properly addressing the problem, then move on to solving it by exposing crimes and the results (laws, punishments, etc.), the public would understand how they should act more clearly. For many, morality has to be explicitly defined by an authority.

Now apply this same logic but to UFOs.

What is the impacts of a decades long of cover-up (assuming there is one) with a flood of uncontrolled disclosure of information with potentially exponential magnitude ? What would be the fallout of a large set of not one but dozens of potentially harsher paradigm shifts? How would people react?

Disclosure is inevitable when enough people care to speak. If I were a gatekeeper sitting on a secret, “Me Too” should serve as a minimal proxy.

Appreciate your time!
