Hi everyone. I spent the beginning of my career roto’ing and compositing for an LA based animation studio. Something about this video immediately jumped out as fishy.
Right before the craft passes behind the pole, you can clearly see what appears to be a slippery vector mask mistakenly cutting into the craft for a few frames. It’s a common error and sometimes isn’t caught while QC’ing.
I’m curious to hear what the community thinks of this clip and the evidence to support CGI.
